Shelley Srp, President
Shelley is a 5th generation Jackson County resident. In 2001, she graduated from Texas A&M University in College Station. After teaching school for a couple of years, Shelley decided to pursue a career in real estate. Shelley is currently the Real Estate Broker and Owner of Twin Rivers Real Estate in Edna. She is a proud Rotarian and the Chairperson of the Principal Broker Committee for the Victoria Area Association of Realtors. Shelley is married to Jake Srp and together they have 3 children. -
Jake Srp, Vice President
Jake is a resident of Jackson County. He is an attorney in Edna, where he has owned and operated the Law Office of Jake Srp, PLLC since 2015. Jake also serves as President of the Jackson County Emergency Services District No. 3 and is on the Board of Directors of the Victoria College Foundation. Jake is married to Shelley Srp and they have three children. -
Linda Reaves, Secretary
Linda (Menefee) Reaves is a native of Edna, and glad to be back home. In a full career in public education, Linda was a teacher and school administrator in three states, ending up as Chief Education Officer for Region IV Education Service Center in Houston. She later served as CEO of a successful educational consultant firm in Houston. A lover of Texas art, Linda and her husband owned an art gallery in Houston for over a dozen years, and she currently serves as co-editor for Texas art at the Texas A&M University Press. There she has collaborated with her husband Bill to author or edit several books on the subject. She and Bill also sponsor on-going Texas art projects at both Texas A&M and the University of Houston-Victoria. -
Bill Reaves, Treasurer
Bill Reaves grew up in Brazoria, Texas and has been married to wife, Linda Reaves for fifty-three years. Like Linda, he is a retired educator, having served in a range of administrative roles across the state. He retired as Associate Vice Chancellor from the Texas A&M University System in 2004. He and Linda have shared an interest Texas art for over forty years, both active on a variety of organizational and business fronts in the field, and most recently writing or editing books on the subject together. As an avid Texas- history buff, Bill is now engaged in a quest to better document the history of the Menefee family in Jackson County. -
Frank Condron, Director
Frank Condron is a retired General Motors engineer. He lives in Edna, Texas with his sixth generation Texas wife, Peggy. In his retirement he has pursued seriously, Texas and local history, automobile restoration, archaeology and clock repair. He lives in a one hundred and ten year home, volunteers at the Museum of the Coastal Bend, represents Region six of the Texas Archeological Society and is the Chair of the Jackson County Historical Commission. -
Roy Ortolon, Past President
Roy Ortolon was raised in Jackson County. After college, he served six years in the US Air Force Reserves while working for Dow Chemical Co. 33 years. He also photographed weddings as a retirement job for 21 years. Retiring in Edna, he started collecting and sharing a pictorial history of Edna. He has served on the Texana Arts Council Board for 11 years and helped promote the Flag City Opry for 13 years. Roy and his wife, Judy, have been married 63 years; have two sons, eight grandkids and three great grandkids.
